To everyone who put together Haunted Con, Thank you so much for the event. I had the best experience to date at a convent at Haunted Con. I attended alone, but left with many new friends. There's only you I can thank for that. I hope this will continue for years to come. If there is anything I could do to help in future events, I would happy to help with whatever I can. If I hadn't said it enough, Thanks. Stephen

I didn't leave a comment card, but I did have some suggestions regarding the lecture portion of the program. It mostly involved set up, and I'm sure you've heard about this from others already, so I'll just go over my suggestions very briefly. The biggest problem involved the presentation screen and the way it was faced. I'm sure the way the Sonoma layout was set up was what provided the biggest challenge, but the screen needed to face out from the corner or the tables needed to be rearranged to accommodate the screen facing the way it was. Also, I'd suggest getting the screen higher by placing it on some sort of platform or blocks just so people's heads aren't blocking out part of the screen for those farther back. Other than those things, I think the con went very well except for the lameness at the end of the Saturday night. But, just like Ryan Buell cancelling, what can you really do about people who decide they're going to behave in such a way? The only thing to do is move on and be as professional as you can, which I feel everybody involved did. If you ever connect with Luis Turi again, please let him know there was at least one person (myself) who was very disappointed he didn't follow through with his breakout session. I was in the session with Debra Martin and so missed him entirely. I was even interested in buying some of his books, but after hearing about his attitude from both con staff and attendees of his general session lecture, I've decided to not support him by buying what he publishes, especially if he has such a low opinion of us "ghost hunters". In any case, thank you, again, for everything. You and your staff did a wonderful job and kept rolling with teh punches with aplomb. I'm definitely interested in next year's event. I just hope work doesn't get in the way of attending that one. Dave
Hello, Can you shed any light on the mystery about the chairs being stacked all crazy in the room that earlier that day had an exorcism read? We attended the exorcism session and later one of our group members won the VIP haunted tour. We have some crazy pictures, not sure if it was a hoax or not. Just wondering if you had any further details. Thanks, Cheryl
Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time both myself and Steve had on Saturday. The event exceeded out expectations. Outstanding all the way around and the staff was extreamly helpful and accomodating. Can't wait for 2009! Thank you again for putting on such a great event! Claudette

Thank you again for such a wonderful weekend and incredible experience. It was great meeting everyone and we are looking forward to next year! First of all, thanks for the invite to the Con and too last nights investigation. Absolutely thought it was worth it. Will plan to go to the next one next year. I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for the wonderful time that I had on Saturday! I want to make sure that you keep me updated on what is going on as I want to attend everything you put on if I can. The only sad thing for me was that my friend go picked to go on the investigation and I did not:( The folks that were there, both speakers and attendees were all so nice and friendly. Congratulations, Liz and Susan! I had a great time. You did a very professional job of putting together a great Conference. There are always glitches when you have a conference in a new place. They were very small, though, and quickly taken care of. Too bad about Ryan, but Chip and the rest of the presenters more than made up for Ryan's absence. I was most impressed with the professional knowledge of the presenters and how they knew a hoax when they saw it. Best of luck with next year's conference! Thanks, Jeanne
